Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Great food and service. Love this place. We have been going here for 20 years and never been disappointed. Chu and Wendy are awesome.

This may well be the best Chinese in PSL but that's like saying cactus water is the best liquid in the desert. The restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night and it still took 10 minutes to get attention and 20 minutes to get our food... Which would have been justifiable if we were wowed. The hot and sour soup had so many chilies in it as to be almost inedible. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the ambience is pleasant. It is clean. Our entrees were piping hot and good portions. The prices very reasonable. We have had much better food from take out joints but China Delight if not great is certainly adequate.

Great food every time we visit FL! Big winners are the Lo Mein and the Sesame Chicken with white sauce. Egg rolls and soup are also great. Friendly service and good value make for an incredible meal.

We are pretty selective about our food. This place has been open for 21 years. Went for take out and we won't go back. Moo Goo Gai Pan was totally tasteless. Only taste that was really evident was cornstarch. Deluxe Won Ton soup was sad. Tough pieces of pork 3 won tons, bland broth, huge hunks of vegetables. Not a mushroom in the soup. Shrimp dish was really disappointing. Raw vegetables and an overly sweet sauce. Don't plan on giving these guys a second chance.

Trying to find good Chinese food in Port Saint Lucie is probably as hard as finding a good cheese burger in India. This place is not the exception. Though it is marginally better than mall Chinese food. All the food is pretty poor and precooked. I had a hot and sour soup that I could have sworn was egg drop with Tabasco. They get 2 stars - be because without them, Port Saint Lucie would have nothing.

Best Chinese food in the Port St. Lucie area

This is by far the best Chinese food in PSL and defiantly reminds me of nY Chinese. Their wide noodles are always fresh and crispy. I judge Chinese on the soup and fried rice and theirs can't be beat. The owner is always friendly. Wether it is take out or eat in you won't be disappointed. Fresh, friendly and well priced makes China Delight a must try. Once you try you will be hooked.

This has to be one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in town. I first visited this establishment 25 years ago as a kid (on vacation with my parents). Good to see it's still run by the same owners. The service is friendly and fast. The food: It's fresh- I can tell if I'm eating day old rice or noodles bit I've never been disappointed with the quality of it. I recommend the pork lomaine and Szechuan shrimp. Very flavorful. I don't recommend their eggrolls. The filling leaves a lot to be desired. I've had better. The chicken wings could use more flavor but they're huge and crispy. Pretty good overall. I give it 4 stars because they are pretty consistent.

The fried rice was not fried but more like rice with food coloring. The scezchuan beef was pasty brown with a gravy not sauce filled with unrecognizable vegetables. The general tso chicken was like gigantic breaded chicken nuggets. The fried shrimp were circular and greasy like onion rings. This place once had the best Chinese food in Port St. Lucie, but this is the last time i order from them. This was the 3rd strike. Worst meal ever and spent 50 dollars for these items. Had to throw out all the food.

Basic Americanized Chinese food. Ordered take out. Served hot, fast and most of the dishes were tasty. Most off the dishes tasted very similar, just different ingredients. Will try again to further explore the menu. New to the area and just can't seem to find that one great, innovative Chinese restaurant. This doesn't appear to be it but will keep looking.

First time I've been let down by yelp reviews! Worst Chinese I've ever had in my life!! Fried rice tasted like dirty water and crab ragoons gross!!!!!! Those of you saying this place is good need to try china town off Darwin it's gold compared to this dump! Manager is just as bad as the food!

I don't know how this restaurant gets decent reviews? We went based upon the overwhelming positive reviews, but we should have paid more attention to the few poor ones as they were right and the rest of you apparently have no idea what good Chinese food should taste like. It's great that they keep you loaded up on complimentary fried wonton & hot tea, but for the most part that's were it ends. The wonton soup was pretty good, but the rest of the food was bad. The General Tao's chicken is over breaded, over fried, and over sauced -- and the sauce is ketchupy & not spicy at all. The Kung Pao chicken was just plain bad -- mushy vegetables with huge pieces of oddly cut chicken in a marginally spicy sauce. The sweet & sour anything is not good. The fried rice is plain rice with an excessive amount of soy sauce & no vegetables. The pork lo mein was marginal at best. On the positive side the service was pretty good & they were very attentive. The price was way too much for the poor quality of the food. I am not a fan of Panda Express, but I would gladly eat Panda Express over this place.

Wonderful food, even better ownership. When I was being treated for Cancer they made sure I had broth waiting for my wife to get over to me, If you're from NYC you have to go here. I have been coming here even before I moved to PSL 12-years ago. The food is what you would expect from a Northeastern US city (most notably, Brooklyn), but in a much more warmer climate in the winter. Even the sounds of the yentas on a Sunday night is amusingly similar to many Chinese restaurants. I'll standby China Delight until they go or I go before them!

I love china delight! I love the pork fried rice, I usually get the same thing sweet and sour chicken. I really like that they put pineapple pieces in it. They have always been very kind to me I used to call my lunch in ahead of time to sit down with no problem Since I was limited on time The possible owner/manager chu ( some people say it's pronounced shoe some say Chew) is super nice.

This is simply the best Chinese food you can find. I've lived all over and have eaten Chinese food just about everywhere (but China, of course), and think there is nothing that even compares to the food here. I have been coming here since I was a little kid and always make a point to eat in or take-out when I come home to visit the fam. This is a family owned business so it's great to support a local business and a great group of people. My faves include the Shrimp with Broccoli but you need to order this amazing Sesame Chicken dish!! You will need to ask for it with the white sauce! The brown sauce is good, but the white sauce is the best!! Sweetly battered white chicken breast strips in a yummy white sauce served with white rice. Yummmm. Seriously, do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to go get it!
